What is the primary function of the Institute?

With almost 50 years of experience the Institute’s main task is to train the professionals in international humanitarian law, refugee law and migration law in order to equip them with the ability to tackle the complex situations the world civilizations are facing today.
Alongside its main training task, the Institute also focuses on the dissemination and development of international humanitarian law through publishing, conducting research, workshops and conferences culminating in its annual Round Table that take place every year in September and gathers experts from all over the world to discuss selected issues.
