On the occasion of the Christmas festivities, the President of the Institute, Professor Edoardo Greppi, would like to express his very best wishes to all IIHL members, partners and staff for a hopeful, healthy and constructive 2021.
The difficult situation the Institute, and, indeed, the world, had to face this year, highlighted its perseverance to achieve its aims and the positive results reached. The dissemination of IHL continued in the name of the Spirit of Sanremo but through different and advanced ways. The Military and the International Refugee Law and Migration Law Departments scheduled more than 30 Online Courses in 2021. These courses were held on the IIHL Online Learning Platform and proved to be very successful. In view of the hopeful easing of the Covid-19 restrictive measures, the Military Department has continued to organise its traditional on-site courses.
