The Institute lectures at the School of Law of the University of Pittsburgh
The Institute was glad to contribute to the International & Foreign Legal Research class organised by the School of Law of the University of Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania, USA).
During the last two weeks, two virtual lectures on “Research for Protection – Theory and Practice“, delivered by Ms Martina Ranieli, Coordinator of the Department of International Refugee Law and Migration Law, and on “From the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 (2000) to the Sanremo Handbook on Gender“, delivered by Mr Edoardo Gimigliano, Project Manager of the Institute, presented some of the key working areas of the Institute. The live sessions analysed the most relevant aspects of International Humanitarian Law and International Refugee and Migration Law, taken into consideration by the Institute when organising and implementing its projects and capacity-building programmes.
