The Online Course presents the key aspects of the protection of forcibly displaced and stateless persons. It is based on the analysis of the relevant international legal framework, including international refugee law, the UN Statelessness Conventions, and international human rights law, and the standards that guarantee that the rights of forcibly displaced and statelessness persons are respected and ensured. Participants will examine current protection challenges such as mixed movements, human trafficking and migrant smuggling, and climate-induced displacement. The course highlights the need for durable solutions and the role everyone can play in protection.
