Ambassador Tomáš Boček, Special Representative of the Secretary General on Migration and Refugees at the Council of Europe, delivered the keynote speech of the 14th Course on International Migration Law.
The Ambassador provided the audience with the key concepts of the international legal frameworks governing the protection of migrants and refugees and highlighted the international law and standards in the current migration challenges. The Special Representative offered participants insights and practical experiences relative to his mandate, including on his priority to improve the situation of the high number of refugee and migrant children currently in Europe.
