On January 16, Lt. General (Ret.) Giorgio Battisti, President of the Sanremo Institute, Secretary-General Gian Luca Beruto, and Col. Rudolph Stamminger, Deputy Director of the Military Department of the IIHL, attended the Rentrée solennelle of the Institut de la Paix et du Développement (IdPD) at the Université de la Côte d’Azur.
During the event, Judge Ronny Abraham of the International Court of Justice delivered the inaugural lecture, offering valuable insights into the state of international peace and justice.
The Institute’s presence at the occasion testifies the long-standing collaboration between the IIHL and the IdPD, which has spanned over 20 years and includes the Diplôme Universitaire (DU transfrontalier) en droit international humanitaire.
