New vacancy: Associate Coordinator (Field Operations) – Department of International Refugee Law and Migration Law

The Department of International Refugee Law and Migration Law of the International Institute of Humanitarian Law of Sanremo, Italy, is committed to supporting field operations of international organizations in advancing their advocacy priorities for protection of refugees. The Institute has had strong, long standing cooperation with international organizations around the world, including the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the Global Protection Cluster and many others. To strengthen this support and further uphold this commitment, the Department is calling for applications for the position of Associate Coordinator (Field Operations). Applications are invited from highly motivated and committed professionals with experience in working and/or liaising with international organizations in the field, in particular UNHCR. Conditions:
  • Application deadline31 December 2021– The Institute may choose to start with the interview process before the application deadline should a suitable candidate be identified;
  • Starting date: no later than 1 February 2022;
  • The incumbent can perform daily work remotely, and may be expected to travel to Sanremo and Geneva upon request of the supervisor;
